The Q Award nominations have been announced and Beyonce is up for an award for the first time.

Coldplay and The 1975 are leading the nominations with four each, including best album.

They'll have to fight off David Bowie, Bastille and the only debut in the running, Christine and the Queens.

The awards will be held at Camden's Roundhouse in November with a live set for the first time in its 26-year history.

It is also the first time that fans will be able to attend the awards and vote for the winners.

Both Coldplay and The 1975 are also up for the best video for Up and Up and A Change of Heart.

Beyonce has also received her first ever Q Award nomination for her Formation video.

Earlier this year she dominated the MTV Video Music Awards, winning eight of the 11 she was nominated for.
