Pics: Capetonians queue for Dunkin’ Donuts

Johannesburg - As Dunkin’ Donuts opened its doors in Cape Town on Thursday, locals queued outside the restaurant in Goodwood.

South Africa has become the 45th country to join the Dunkin’ family following a master franchise agreement between Dunkin’ Brands and the JSE-listed Grand Parade Investments.

The deal allows for the development of more than 250 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants and more than 70 Baskin-Robbins shops in the country over the coming years.

An extensive variety of the brand’s coffee will be available in South Africa, including the smooth Dunkin’ Donuts Original Blend, Lattes and Cappuccinos, as well as a selection of cold beverages. Guests can also look forward to a variety of 28 different donuts during the launch period.
