INDORE: Police on Thursday arrested all four of the accused involved in abducting two-year-old girl
Shubhi Saxena from her house in
Guna, who was rescued in Indore late on Wednesday.
A special team of child welfare committee was formed on Thursday to look into the matter and little Shubhi was handed over to her family members by Childline after verification of documents and photographs.
Family members claimed that the girl had been abducted from the house on Wednesday afternoon while she was with her grandfather
Ashok Saxena. A minor came to the house and told Ashok that his son Mayank was sitting at a general store nearby and had asked him to bring Shubhi.
Ashok allowed the minor to take Shubhi to her father but she was abducted and taken to the bus stand where the main accused Amar Shrivastav was waiting. "Amar had hired three Indore-based persons to abduct the girl and extort money from the family" said
Avinash Verma, coordinator, Childline.
