Gurdwara panel to manage Simbal Camp shrine

JAMMU: The District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) and Sikh devotees of Simbal Camp today said the gurdwara at Panchayati Tekri would be managed by the DGPC through the local elected committee.

Jammu, October 13

The District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DGPC) and Sikh devotees of Simbal Camp today said the gurdwara at Panchayati Tekri would be managed by the DGPC through the local elected committee.

The Parbandhak Committee of the gurdwara threatened the administration to desist from “illegal interference”. The members alleged that the administration and the police were violating the court order regarding the management of the gurdwara. — TNS
