No new worries for Wigan

Wigan have no fresh injury problems for their home clash with Burton.

Dan Burn has been playing with a knee issue of late, having injections before games, but it was hoped the international break would give him a chance to get back to full fitness.

Reece Burke (hernia) remains doubtful but Kyle Knoyle could be involved having recovered from an elbow problem.

Alex Gilbey (knee and ankle) is definitely out, while Donervon Daniels (knee) and Reece James (foot) have stepped up their recoveries but are still not ready for first-team action.

Burton will check on the fitness of defenders John Brayford and John Mousinho.

Brayford was brought off after suffering a pull in his groin during the 3-1 defeat against Norwich last month. Mousinho returned to action at Carrow Road having missed a month with a hamstring problem but was rested for the 2-0 home win over Cardiff - coming off the bench late on to make his 100th appearance in all competitions for the Brewers.

Boss Nigel Clough expects all of his other players to be fit, although he will be waiting on the safe return from international duty of Jackson Irvine, Tom Flanagan and Jamie Ward before finalising his plans.

The tight hamstring that forced wing-back Lee Williamson to miss the Cardiff game is expected to have eased and he should be back in contention.
