Manages, delivers and deploys aspects of network architecture, design, and engineering and detail network specifications in order to migrate client from current network environment to the new environment.

Certifications: Infoblox, Bluecat, CCNA, Red Hat or UNIX flavor, Microsoft Certified.
DDI (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) Engineering Support
Roles & Responsibilities :
Performance and configuration Management
Install, configure, upgrade and patch DDI network management equipment (Windows and UNIX based). Troubleshooting, Patch management, Reports customization and scheduling. Create/manage asset inventory with connectivity diagrams to keep it latest.
Service Reporting: SLA Reporting
Ability to understand SLA’s and their impact on the reporting function. Ability to monitor, collate, analyze and present the SLA reports/other information using existing/new framework for management to do effective decision making on the quality of service provided.
WFM (Work flow assistance)
Ability to act as point of contact for service delivery teams to review process flow and Involved in service improvement reviews. Also, monitor DDI service request and Remedy queues to action on any new or pending tickets frequently. Create new network service management processes/procedures for new technologies working with different Network Engineering teams. Ability to make decisions on their own, be a self-starter and a good team player.
Key competencies & Skills:
Sound knowledge on DDI tools (Bluecat, QIP, Infoblox as primarily and any other tools). Strong knowledge of IP addressing and subnetting. Advance to expert level of knowledge in DNS, BIND which includes different layers of DNS Topology, Hidden master concept, split DNS architecture, DNSSEC, Threat Protection and DHCP services. Hands on experience in DDI tools, migration of DDI services from one tool to other like QIP to Bluecat or Infoblox and remote server management like RUNIP for QIP, BDDS/Adonis for Bluecat and Grid Members for Infoblox. MCP, RHCE, CCNA or any other UNIX certification is required which will help in gaining expert level knowledge of networking across various DDI or DNS/DHCP concepts. Different OS platform knowledge like Windows, UNIX, Linux and SUN will be an added advantage. Knowledge on Scripting and Database administration like Sybase or Oracle. Ability to identify the problem and provide permanent solution to restore the services. Ability to evaluate different features of the tools and provide solution according to the requirement as on when required. Ability to work independently and should take tough challenges to reach milestones. Good concept and hands on experience of DNS/BIND Versions and DHCP. Leadership skill required to lead and complete new or run and maintain projects. Excellent communication skills. Very good knowledge of Routing, Switching and Firewall. Knowledge of different capturing and reporting tools.

Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
