Apex Gaming’s VLTs have been successfully installed at all 16 outlets of WINWIN in Austria.
WINWIN has created a new gaming concept in Austria, offering relaxed gaming opportunities with an integrated café and bar, and is a joint venture between Casinos Austria and the Austrian State Lottery.
The choice to offer Apex machines was made for several reasons: Apex has amassed great experience in VLT gaming and fulfils all the requirements stipulated in the Austrian VLT Gaming Ordinance.
Secondly, Apex offers a wide choice of games that are displayed in pin-sharp graphics thanks to its EVO 2 platform. Thirdly, the machines offer the very latest technology such as HD monitors, high-performance CPU and best-in-class components.
The VLTs are connected via the G2S protocol. Although well known to the gaming market, the number of jurisdictions demanding G2S is relatively small. Nevertheless, Apex has invested strongly to ensure that its VLTs run perfectly on both G2S and SAS.
WINWIN reports that the APEX games have been accepted very well by their customers. Johannes Weissengruber, chairman and founder of Apex, said: “This is an excellent reference for us - there are at present only a handful of manufacturers worldwide that can confidently answer all the G2S requirements. Naturally we are very proud to win this key contract in our home country.”
