Thalaivar Rajinikanth to watch Vishnuvardhan's Nagarahavu at a special screening

Superstar Rajinikanth, who recently wrapped up the shoot of his much-awaited Enthiran 2.0, will watch Kannada superstar Vishnuvardhan's comeback film Nagarahavu, say reports.

Despite being professional rivals, superstar Rajinikanth has always valued the Kannada superstar Vishnuvardhan's friendship.

According to reports, Rajinikanth, who was curious about the digitally recreated version of his friend Vishnuvardhan, will watch the Kannada film Nagarahavu today at a special screening in Chennai.

While the film stars Diganth and Ramya, the makers of the film have spent a whopping Rs 15 crore to bring the legendary actor back to screen, which lasts merely for nine minutes.

The makers also marketed the film as his "comeback". However, it is not clear whether Rajinikanth will watch the original Kannada film or the Tamil dubbed version.

Directed by Kodi Ramakrishna of Arundhati fame, the film also stars Saikumar, Rajesh Vivek, Sadhu Kokila and Mukul Dev.

Bankrolled by Sajid Qureshi, the film has music by Gurukiran and is all set for a grand release tomorrow (October 14).

Interestingly, superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan had the digitally recreated version of the legendary comedian Nagesh.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth has wrapped up the shoot of his 2.0. The first look poster of the film will be released on November 20 and is touted to feature Thalaivar and Khiladi Akshay Kumar locking horns.
