Gau Rakshaks Are Now Using Cleopatra To Sell Cow’s Urine As A Beauty Solution

Gau Rakshaks Are Now Using Cleopatra To Sell Cow’s Urine As A Beauty Solution

Save the cow lobbyists are at it again, as the Gujarat Gauseva and Gauchar Vikas Board (yep, they exist) try to propagate cow protection by using Cleopatra as the face of their campaign.

In order to promote the welfare of cows at the cost of women’s self esteem, the committee is stating that milk, ghee, dung, and urine are all ingredients used for facial treatments for glowing skin. The board stated, “The queen of Egypt, Cleopatra, considered the most beautiful woman in the world, also used milk for bathing.”

Like every other memo in the world, the group's book of remedies - the Aarogya Geeta too tells women how to live their lives, and elaborately guides them through a beauty ritual that involves mostly cow milk and urine to be applied on the face. A page from the book also reads, “Natural beauty treatments can give you glow and shine that cannot be achieved through any layers of artificial make-up. Panchgavya (cow urine) treatment can help women get elegant, pleasant, attractive, and beautiful personality, and achieve love and affection from others.”

Thank you, gau rakshaks. What would we ever have done without you? Now that they’ve unlocked the secrets to living life for you, try it at your own risk. But be warned, it might just leave you ‘gauseated’.

P.S: Cleopatra bathed in donkey milk.
