Jaipur: Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot and PCC chief Sachin Pilot on Wednesday targeted the Raje-government over alleged corruption in transfer postings. The Congress leaders demanded a transfer policy to safeguard the government employees.
"The present state government is being controlled by the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh). People associated with RSS are being given prime postings, while the upright ones are being transferred out," Gehlot told reporters at the PCC headquarters.
He added, "Under Congress government, we suffered the ire of our party workers but always decided (transfer postings) on human grounds. Congress never transfers government employees on the basis of their ideologies."
The former CM even targeted ministers in the Raje-government for allegedly running a 'transfer industry'. "Does the CM not know who all are running the 'transfer industry' from their petrol filling stations? She knows all. She is aware which minister is accepting bribes for transfers and she knows which minister's staff is demanding bribes for transfers," Gehlot said, without naming the ministers notorious for corruption in transfer postings of government employees.
PCC chief Pilot accused the Raje-government of falling back on its electoral promise by failing to frame a transfer policy for government employees.
