PATTANI -- The body of an unidentified man who had been shot dead was found early on Thursday by villagers in Mae Lan district, police said.
The body was found lying on a road in Moo 5 village in tambon Pa Rai. The man was shot through the left side of his head.
Police, who examined the scene this morning, sent the body to Mae Lan Hospital for a post-mortem and identification.
Police were investigating.
