Woman jumps into Hooghly

Kolkata: An unidentified woman allegedly jumped into the Hooghly from Howrah bridge on Wednesday. Police said the body is yet to be recovered. According to sources, the woman - aged around 25 - was seen loitering on Howrah bridge around 11.30am, and 15 minutes later she jumped into the water. "We are yet to locate her. An alert has been sent to all police stations, but no missing case has yet been linked with her," said an officer.tnn
