The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has been waiting for about six months for the demarcation of a site in its residential Sector 7 in Gohana by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) to set up a 33-kV power substation.
Deepak Popli, executive engineer of the nigam in Gohana, said keeping in view the power demands of the sector and other adjoining localities, the nigam had planned to set up a power substation in Sector 7 at an estimated cost of Rs 3 crore.
“We had written to HUDA for the demarcation of the site about six months ago. When it is done, construction will start,” he said.
