It’s a known fact that director Rathina Siva’s debut film, Vaa Deal, starring Arun Vijay and Karthika Nair, is yet to see the light of day. However, the filmmaker has moved on to make Rekka with Vijay Sethupathi and Lakshmi Menon, and it is running to packed houses across Tamil Nadu.
Now, within days of its release, Siva has already started working on his next project. It is rumoured that the director will team up with Raghava Lawrence for his next film.
Confirming the news, Siva said, “I have narrated the script to Lawrence sir, and we have initiated talks to bring him on board. He is yet to sign on the dotted line. We will be finalising the rest of cast and crew in two weeks’ time.”
Siva was tight-lipped about any further information on the project. “It is too early to talk about the script right now,” he dismisses. Lawrence is currently shooting for P Vasu’s Shivalinga and has Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva and Naagaa which are in different stages of production. The actor is expected to start shooting for Rathina Siva’s film soon.
