Dharavi school digitized, CM unveils statewide plans

Mumbai: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis launched digital initiatives by hardware giant Cisco in different parts of the state.
As a part of the tie-up between the two, Cisco has digitized a school in Dharavi ,a public heath centre in a rural village in Nagpur and also launched its manufacturing hub at Pune. The government has also tied up with Cisco to turn Nagpur into a smart city.
This is also marks the fulfilment of the MoU signed during the Make in India week.
“This is a step towards more developed and digitized Maharashtra. We plan to invest Rs 5,000 crore towards various digital projects. We also plan to set up Mahanet on the lines of Bharat net through an special purpose vehicle which will have industry experts,” he said on Wednesday during the launch function at the Taj Mahal Palace in Colaba.
