Marlowe’s pinstripe dashingly debonair in downtown Houston
HOUSTON – Marlowe, a condominium tower in downtown, is underway complete with a glam Hollywood theme.
The 20-story, 95-unit condo project is located at 1311 Polk St., across the street from the House of Blues and a couple of blocks from the Toyota Center and Discovery Green park.
The gray and white glass building, inspired by a pinstripe suit, will feature a glamorous Hollywood theme with the floor plans named after great movie legends like Marlon Brando, Robert Redford and Frank Sinatra.
The one- and two-bedroom units, which average 1,200 sf, are priced between $375,000 and $1.5 million.
The Marlowe also has seven penthouse units with larger terraces, an enclosed two-car private garage, a Bertazzoni kitchen appliance package and an air-jet tub.
Building amenities including a fitness center; 24-hour concierge and valet parking; a starlight pool and hot tub; a steam room, massage room and sauna; an outdoor fire pit; and a guest apartment that residents’ visitors can use for a daily fee.
Marlowe is currently 40 percent sold, according to the building’s marketing materials.
The developers are offering a buyer special this month for a free washer and dryer, wine cooler and a $5,000 allowance for the master closet.
Randall Davis Co. and DC Partners are the developers.
