Varied cultural programmes marked the end of week-long founders’ day celebration of Swami Darshanand Institute of Management and Technology (SDIMT) here today.
Chief guest Acharya Hari Gopal Shastri of Gurukul Mahavidyalya in his address urged students to give their best in studies, sports and cultural activities as this would inculcate a lifelong practice of giving best in every sphere of life.
Emphasising on the need of practicing yoga and meditation, Acharya Hari Gopal Shastri said this would enhance the mental and physical well being, which eventually benefit in academics and sports.
Swami Darshanand Institute of Management Technology managing director Anil Goyal lauded the all-round performance of students. He said multi-skill students prove to be highly successful and acceptable in corporate world.
Professor SC Dhamija recounted the performance of students who were selected through campus placement. Students presented cultural programmes, including ethnic folk dress competition, vocal music, dance, skits and patriotic theme-based cultural items.
Mohini, Isha Chauahn, Nandini Dua, Shivani, Sangam and Gunjan were adjudged winners in dance events.
Dean academic Jai Laxmi, Deeksha Chaudhary, Hitesh Pujari, Pankaj Chaudhari, Priyanka, Kriti Jain, Ranjana Babbar, Anurag Gupta, Aman, Dharnidhar Vagle, Sandeep Rai, Malkeet Singh, Prabhjeet Singh, Ritika Kaushik, Divya Tyagi, Hemant, Abdul Samad, Harspreet Kaur, Jyoti Ojha, Divya Sharma, Priyanka, Rashmi, Monika, Paras, Prabhjeet, Archana Arya, Manoj Dhiman, Yashu, Pragati, Neelam, Rupali, Aarti, Prateeksha were present at the function.
