Ritu Beri
“I got to know Parmesh when I did a show in Mumbai in 2001.
I fell in love with her vivacity, generosity of heart and zest for life. I enjoyed dressing her up, as she was experimental and fun. She was the ultimate hostess and an absolutely incomparable social icon. Glamorous, stylish and with genuine class, she inherently knew how to create a party in the true sense of the word. I absolutely adored her. She will be greatly missed.”

She hadn’t been well for a while, but when you’d meet her, you’d hardly know of it (her illness) as her indomitable spirit, her warmth and affection is all that one saw. Many years ago, over a casual conversation, she took up the cudgels of a personal battle and helped me through it, which I am eternally grateful for. Her legendary parties and her philanthropy aside, it was her zest for life and spirit that will live on forever."
