Transneft Siberia has finished a set of works on reconstruction of sections of two oil trunk pipelines Surgut - Gorky - Polotsk and Ust-Balyk - Omsk, and has obtained the necessary package of documents permitting commissioning of these facilities.

Reconstruction of the sections of the main leg of the pipelines was conducted as part of the development programme of the joint-stock company. Works on replacement of the main leg of the pipelines, operated by Nefteyugansk Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate, were conducted at three sections of Surgut - Gorky - Polotsk oil pipeline with total length of 34.3 km and at one section of Ust-Balyk - Omsk oil pipeline with total length of 2 km.

At the present time technical and biological recultivation of land has been finished in the work area.

Due to detailed engineering preparation to the planned repair, the whole set of works was conducted within the established period and with high quality, which will contribute to further increasing rhythmicity and safety of the oil transportation process in the area of responsibility of Transneft Siberia.
