Marking its strong presence at the national level, the Kochi-based technical consultancy organisation, Kitco, has bagged a number of projects from public sector institutions, including the Airports Authority of India, HPCL, BPCL, Inland Waterways Authority of India and Indian Maritime University.

“We are fast progressing with the pan-India expansion plans thanks to a large number of key assignments from PSUs. This is in continuation of our excellent show last year in which consultancy services were provided for projects worth ₹2,500 crore,” Cyriac Davies, Kitco Managing Director, said.

The company has been appointed the engineering and procurement management consultant by HPCL for refurbishment of the tank farm and pipelines at Butcher Island in Mumbai. HPCL has also entrusted Kitco with the task of preparing a detailed feasibility report for the bunkering facilities of Vasco terminal at Marmugao Port.

Going strong in the oil and gas sector, Kitco has bagged a contract from BPCL to prepare an engineering solution for a fully automated bitumen handling facility.

IWAI has appointed Kitco to provide consultancy services for the water taxi project on the Yamuna River in Delhi. The Indian Maritime University’s contract is for preparing a detailed project report for its proposed campus in Jaigarh, Maharashtra.

Kitco was also tasked by the Airport Authority of India to prepare a DPR for two new airports in Meerut and Faizabad.

Discussions are also on for taking up the upcoming projects of OPaL (ONGC Petro additions Ltd) (Dahej) and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd, Davies said, adding that the organisation has been appointed as an empanelled consultant by the Military Engineering Services and Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM).
