RAJKOT: A 16-year-old boy, who had helped his friend elope a girl, was stabbed to death by two persons in Bhavnagar city's Kumbharvada area late on Sunday night.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the girl's mother Anju Koli had given `supari (contract)' to eliminate the boy Paresh Gohel. Paresh's brother Manoj has named Akshay Makwana and Dhiru Makwana, both residents of Gokulnagar locality, as the killers in his complaint.
Both have been arrested.
“Pravin alias Daud had abducted Anju's minor daughter few weeks ago. Paresh had reportedly helped Pravin in the abduction. So, Anjuben and her relative Satish contracted the two men to kill Paresh,“ Manoj said in his complaint.
