Extramarital affair: Wife, lover arrested for husband's murder

JAIPUR: Solving the murder case of a 34-year-old man whose body was found near the wall of Khadi Gramudyog near Tonk Phatak flyover, the Jaipur police on Monday arrested his wife, her paramour and his accomplice.
The woman was having an extramarital affair for the last three years, thus she planned and executed the murder. According to the police, the deceased identified as Nanu Lal Gujjar(34) was found murdered on Sunday evening.
The assailants in order to give it an angle of accident had kept the body on a motorbike and thrown it. However, after few preliminary information on the deceased's wife identified as Asha Devi (32), police managed to nail her down along with male companion and his accomplice.
“It was found that Nanu was not having a good relationship with his wife and he used to reach home by 7 pm every day . A few things pointed to the fact that his wife was having an affair for last 3 years. Thus, we collected vital information and brought the accused Ramawtar Meena from Alwar for interrogation,“ said Kunwar Rastradeep, Deputy Commissioner of police (East) on Monday.
Police interrogated the wife and her male companion Ramawtar and after the stern interrogation both confessed their crime.
“They took him to an isolated location and hit him with a baseball bat. Later, while keeping his body on a motorbike they threw it near Tonk Phatak area. The arrested included Asha Devi, Ramawatar Meena and one Harkesh Meena,“ he said.
Asha Devi and Ramawatar Meena were booked under section 302 of IPC while Harkesh has been booked under section 120-B to be read with 302 of IPC.
