Model-actor Sudhanshu Pandey has a strong connect with Jaipur. His family, including his elder brother and parents, has been staying in the city for many years. In Jaipur recently for an event, Sudhanshu said, “Jaipur has become my hometown. My elder brother and my parents stay here. I visit them often.”
Talking about his fondness for the city, the actor said, “Jaipur is a very beautiful.
The place exudes ethnic vibes from every corner. You get to see glimpses of Indian culture, which we don’t usually see in many cities of our country. And then I love the food and the music here. Rajasthan’s music has carved its own niche. It is not only popular in India, but has made a mark globally, thanks to the state’s folk artists who are invited to musical concerts and special events across the world. So Rajasthan’s music has represented India globally in many ways.”

Recently seen in the second season of 24, Sudhanshu rued that the show couldn’t repeat the success of its first season. “We have seen shows revolving around kitchen politics for decades. You cannot expect people to change and accept a show like 24. So it was difficult to reach the TRP benchmark that a show like Naagin and other similar shows had set. But TV is changing for good; many male-dominated shows have come up.”
