55 students felicitated at Karnal college

KARNAL: In all, 55 students were felicitated today at Dyal Singh College here for their performance at the Zonal Youth Festival organised at Arya Adarsh Girls College, Madlauda (Panipat) from October 3-5.

In all, 55 students were felicitated today at Dyal Singh College here for their performance at the Zonal Youth Festival organised at Arya Adarsh Girls College, Madlauda (Panipat) from October 3-5. The students had participated in 15 events and bagged prizes in eight of them.

Principal KL Gosain congratulated the winners. Sanjeev Sharma, convener of the Youth Welfare and Cultural Committee, said Manisha Nagpal of BCom (5th semester) was appreciated for her Solo Classical Dance performance. “Group song (Western and Haryanvi) performance by college students was appreciated. Anubhav Singh of BA (5th semester) was praised for his Poetical Symposium performance,” he said.

Sachi of BCom (3rd semester) was appreciated for her collage. Sonal of BCom (1st semester) was admired for her poster. — TNS
