SP Gadchiroli conducts 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'

NAGPUR: Officers and personnel at the office of superintendent of police, Gadchiroli, participated in cleaning of their premises on Sunday as a part of the 'Swachh Bharat mission' envisioned by prime minister Narendra Modi. The programme was organized on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
A press note issued by Gadchiroli police stated the mission started after garlanding Gandhiji's portrait by the senior officers and others at the premises of the district police headquarters.Apart from police headquarters, the adjoining residential complex was also cleaned during the day-long mission. Students of a local school too participated in the programme that was organized by SP Abhinav Deshmukh. It is learnt substantial quantity of garbage was removed from the premises during the drive.
