The Plateau State Governor, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, has described the Gbong Gwom Jos, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, as a quintessential traditional ruler whose leadership role as the Chairman of the Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs has consolidated on the peace and security being enjoyed on the Plateau.
Lalong in a statement issued by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Samuel Emmanuel Nanle, felicitated with Buba on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
The Governor commended the Gbong Gwom for reviving the cultural consciousness of the Berom Nation, which he leads, and for providing the leadership that unites the people of Plateau State and provokes deliberate actions of economic self reliance.
Lalong, while wishing the Gbong Gwom many happy returns on behalf of his family, the Government and people of Plateau State, prayed for a life full of health and enriched with wisdom for greater leadership exploits.
