In a statement here, Goa Forward Party president Prabhakar Timble said, ''We need information on the powers of the Mhadei tribunal, the documents provided by the Goa state, the state of Karnataka and the state of Maharashtra to the tribunal. The political parties be also provided with all documents of the correspondence between the State of Goa and the Central government and the State of Karnataka. In the absence of all this, the opinions expressed by political parties would be an abstract exercise.'' A meaningful response could be expected to protect the interests of Goa at a later stage, he said, adding without any documents in the hands of political parties, Goa Forward Party held that no consultation of whatsoever had taken place today.
