"Technically, the action in 2.0 is a high level of achievement. I went to the set and what I saw was amazing. I've gone through the narration and the previews. Next year most of my time will be invested in creating 2.0," he said.

The 45-year-old sound designer feels the movie will consolidate a position in the global market, especially when most of the Hollywood films are raking in huge money at the domestic box office.

"I think a film like 2.0 will consolidate our position from the international perspective of filmmaking. I have reasons to say this when you look at the last five years how Hollywood films are faring in the Indian domestic market."

Earlier to this, Resul Pookutty went on record saying that 2.0 is not a sequel, but a completely different film.

Meanwhile, the first look poster, which will be out in November, is touted to feature Thalaivar Rajinikanth locking horns with Khiladi Akshay Kumar, who plays the menacing villain in the film.

Amy Jackson will be seen playing the female lead in 2.0, which also has Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain in important roles.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the film has music by Academy Award winner AR Rahman and is made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 crore.

Enthiran 2.0, the sequel to the blockbuster Tamil film Enthiran, is likely to hit the screens next year on Diwali.
