Olivia Wilde

Designers Abraham and Thakore present a trans-seasonal collection with a selection of styles. For this collection, we explore khadi — the great example of Indian craftsmanship and human dexterity, a true example of “slow” fashion.  The designers are fascinated by contradiction and contrast, and explore the  tropes of tradition and modernity in this collection. Colour palette like kora, coffee, black and gold have been used in the collections.

Reby Jindal

Designer Reby Jindal’s collection “Guapa” is a resort-wear label that is easy, effortless and comfortable. Believing in the concepts of simplicity, colour and the free spirit, the element has been picked from the everyday ordinary and has been turned into a special garment. Silhouettes within the collection are relaxed, floaty and bear an influence from the 1920s.  It is all about layering with easy shapes, summer hues and eclectic colour equations all effortlessly combined and put together.

Mandira Wirk

Mandira Wirk combines the femininity of timeless period pieces with the classic trends of the 80s in her latest Spring/ Summer 2017 collection.  Key elements include modern details like wide pockets and deep waistbands paired with layers of French knots. Sheer detailing are used. The collection includes a diverse range of silhouettes, with paneled anarkalis, jackets and capes, crop tops, jumpsuits, tapered trousers, alongside designer’s signature styles like drape saris and dhoti pants.

Charu Parashar

Inspired from beautiful Portuguese architecture, designer Charu Parashar’s “The Travellers Trunk” collection has captured the essence of Portugal in the form of prints and embroideries with India’s look.   From trendy capes, tops, kaftans, skirts to dresses and lehengas, the collection has been designed beautifully to look stylish and at the same time comfortable. The functionality of the collection is varied and each piece can be used in different ways. Teaming it up with other pieces of garments, one could use them as western or Indian outfits.

Ashish N. Soni

This time Ashish N. Soni, Spring/Summer 2017 collection is a menswear only that focuses on a subdued colour palette. With the collection predominantly in shades of black and  white — keeping a largely monochrome look – grey is also one of the key shades that features in the collection. In keeping with the designer’s minimalistic aesthetic, these colours form the perfect background for the experimental silhouettes that pave the way forward. This collection is a well-tailored piece highlighting the new age definition of creativity.
