MENDHAR, Oct 8: At least 10 children hailing from Uchhad Keni village of Mankote area were admitted to hospital at Mendhar due to food poisoning this evening.
These children of three families of Mohd Jahangir, Inayat Ahmed and Mohd Hanief were rushed to Mendhar hospital after they were taken ill in the evening. They started loose motion and vomiting after taking evening meals. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Mohd Jahangir, father of three children revealed that they bought butter-milk ( Lassi) from the neighbours and all the children and even some elderly members consumed the same with meals. After that they were taken ill. The police registered a case and started investigation.
