Relatives hack man to death

A 28-year-old man was hacked to death by his relatives over a property dispute at Doddanna Nagar near Kavalbyrasandra in DJ Halli on Friday night.

The deceased is Stanley, a resident of Doddanna Nagar. He was into food catering business. Stanley was stabbed repeatedly by his relatives Prabhu and Madan, along with a few others. Prabhu has been arrested, while the others are absconding.

At around 10.30 pm, Stanley was walking back home after finishing his work. Madan and Prabhu stopped Stanley and picked an argument over a property dispute. In a  fit of rage, Madan and others stabbed Stanley and fled. Hearing his screams, residents of the locality came out and found Stanley lying in a pool of blood. They alerted the DJ Halli police, who shifted Stanley to a nearby hospital, but was declared brought dead.
