Ali Fazal maybe doing a
Hollywood film with actor
Judi Dench, but he'll still be wearing desi clothes in it. According to reports, Ali will be playing
Abdul, a servant who comes to England and forges an unique bond with
Queen Victoria in the film, which is set in
Victorian Age. And since the character is Indian, the filmmaker wanted a local designer to get the exact desi look.
A source revealed to a newspaper, "Ali needs to have a certain look, of a man belonging to the royal court.
The production crew is on the lookout for an
Indian designer to do Ali's costumes to ensure that they get that exact Peshawari look for him."
Though the producers have identified a reputed Indian designer for the shoot, Ali is also doing his research and has recommended a few names to the crew.
The Indian schedule of the movie, which is currently being shot in Scotland, is slated to take off in November.
