Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh while addressing a public meeting at Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district last evening, announced construction of multilevel parking at Keylong and Rs. 9.32 crore for Khandip water canal to cover 16 villages of Tandi panchayat through NABARD.He also announced opening of Agriculture Marketing Yard at Dalang and said a master plan would be prepared for developing Keylong from tourism point of view. He announced Ayurveda dispensary at Malang and Charu, Health sub centre at Ranika and to provide new busses to HRTC depot of Keylong, starting of HRTC bus service from Lat Shak to Kullu and from Yoche to Riwalsar.He said work on irrigation schemes in the valley would be speeded up and directed to take up the work of repairing irrigation koohls on priority so that farmers did not face any shortage of water for irrigation purpose.
