LUCKNOW: Waterproof tents to house nearly 2 lakh party supporters brought in trains and buses, tonnes of vegetables, atta and cereals to feed them and nearly 200 buses for their movement in and around the city - all of this constitutes the arrangements by the BSP for its mega rally on Sunday.
Party supporters are expected to throng the city in large numbers to listen to Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati in what is arguably the biggest rally ahead of UP assembly elections due in a few months.

Choosing BSP founder Kanshiram's 10th death anniversary as the occasion for the show of strength, Mayawati is learnt to have pushed her entire organizational machinery to make the stay and transport arrangements for her party supporters flawless.
The rally has been organized in Kanshiram Eco Garden. The accommodation for supporters will be at the nearby sprawling Smriti Upvan.
Party sources said that while Mayawati's trusted lieutenants Satish Chandra Mishra and Naseemuddin Siddiqui have been asked to oversee the preparations in Lucknow, MLAs, MLCs, zonal and district coordinators and members of BAMCEF have been pressed into service to bring as many party supporters as possible from all the 75 districts of UP.
BSP sources said Mayawati has given a target of bringing in at least 5,000 supporters from each assembly constituency.
For this, the party has booked 22 trains to ferry supporters from across the state.
