Even as director Vijay's '
Tutak Tutak Tutiya' released in Hindi, Tamil (as 'Devi(L)') and Telugu (as 'Abhinetri') yesterday,
Sonu Sood, who produced the Bollywood version, is keen to take the story ahead and make a
sequel with
Prabhudheva and
Tamannaah, who starred in the horror comedy. He says, 'We have an idea that can be developed.'
However, this time, Prabhudheva will helm the sequel that will be shot in Punjab and London.
Sonu adds, 'Prabhu knows the genre well and is excited about the idea.'
The actor-filmmaker is glad that his maiden production's songs ' 'Rail Gaddi', 'Chal Maar', 'Love The Way You Dance' and the title track, which is adapted from Punjabi singer Malkit Singh's chartbuster 'Tutak Tutak Tutiya', have been received well by the audience. Sonu states, 'While we had a good story, I knew I had to have great music. I'm glad that spending sleepless nights in the recording studio has paid off.'
Industry biggies like Shah Rukh Khan,
Kangana Ranaut and
Farah Khan and international superstar
Jackie Chan have also supported the movie. While SRK has lent his voice as the narrator, Farah launched the trailer, Kangana released the title track and Jackie unveiled the first poster. A visibly excited Sonu says, 'The film starts with the slate 'I Love You
Shah Rukh Khan'. He's like my brother and I can never thank him enough. When Farah, Kangana and Jackie supported me, I felt happy that I had earned the goodwill. I hope people like the movie, so we can start working on the sequel.'
'Tutak Tutak Tutiya', presented by Pooja Entertainment Films and produced by Shakti Sagar Productions, released yesterday.
