HariHaran, Rekha Bhardwaj and Anup Jalota to pay tribute to Jagjit Singh

Jagjit Singh���s ghazal 'Koi Fariyaad' from the 2001 film 'Tum Bin' was a huge hit. So, producers Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha (writer-director), have now recreated the song as 'Teri Fariyad' in their romantic musical Tum Bin 2, which stars Neha Sharma and newcomers Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati and releases on November 18. For the track, Bhushan roped in composer Ankit Tiwari and lyricist Shakeel Azmi.It has been sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and also features Singh���s original voice. The ghazal maestro was an important member of the 'Tum Bin' family, so the makers are organising a concert on his fifth death anniversary. Apart from Bhardwaj, renowned singers like Hariharan, Anup Jalota and Jaswinder Singh will perform Singh���s ghazals in his memory.
Complimentary invites for the 'Tum Bin 2' Jagjit Singh concert, which will be held on October 10 at Rang Sharda Auditorium from 8.30 pm, is available on a first-come-first-served basis today and tomorrow at the venue from 11 am to 6 pm.
