Not Ishaan Manhas, but Vin Rana in 'Kumkum Bhagya'

Ever since Arjit Taneja informed the production house of his decision to quit the popular show 'Kumkum Bhagya', the makers have been on the lookout for a suitable replacement for his character Purab Khanna, which seems to have become the most coveted role on television today. As reported by us, actor Gunjan Utreja was approached to play the new Purab. However, the deal fell through at the last minute.Gunjan's exit from the scene was followed by a report stating that Ishaan Singh Manhas, in all likelihood, will bag the part. However, we can now tell you that the actor, who has featured in shows like, 'Ek Mutthi Aasmaan' and 'Swim Team', has also failed to clinch the deal. Incidentally, the part has now gone to Vin Rana.
Vin shot to fame as Nakul in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's 'Mahabharat' and was last seen in 'Vishkanya - Ek Anokhi Prem Kahani'. He confirmed the news that he is part of the show and will commence the shoot soon.
