In a bid to prevent any cross Line of Control strike by the Indian Army, the Pakistani Army has beefed up its positions all along it. More troops have been positioned in the area north of Sialkot, while as per the intelligence assessment Pakistan’s aggressive LoC posture has been reported to the Centre and counter-measures have also been put in place.
According to a senior official, the Army is strengthening its defences in cities like Muzaffarabad and other towns in PoK. Moreover, the attack on the 30 Rashtriya Rifles camp in Handwara led to the killing of three terrorists from whom, two GPS sets, code sheets of the kind used by Muridke -basd LeT terror group have been recovered.
Sources maintain that Pakistan violated the ceasefire at five places along the LoC using weapons and mortars to attack Indian positions. Intelligence officials also say that militants in the Valley will make the coming wonter “hot” for the security forces, reports Hindustan Times.
