Unidentified man dies in accident

Unidentified man in his 40s died when a rashly driven four-wheeler dashed him while he was crossing the road near Medical Square. Ajni police have registered the offence against the unknown driver.

Four suspects booked
Tehsil police, on Thursday, booked four suspects, including two women, who stole Rs1.25 lakh belonging to complaint Bhaskar Pihul.
Cops said Pihul, native of Selu in Wardha, was heading towards Shahid Square by autorickshaw. Four miscreants boarded the same vehicle on sharing basis and got down on the next square. It is when Pihul got down and was paying the driver, that he found the chain of his bag open and the amount missing.
House-breaking in Imambada
Unidentified burglars broke open the door and decamped with cash Rs 10k and valuables worth Rs1,04,000 from the residence of complainant Dr. Lata Mohto, in Chandan Nagar on Wednesday.
Married woman raped by maternal uncle
A woman (26), mother of three daughters and a son, was raped by her maternal uncle, identified as Saiyyad Ali (50) at his place in Yashodhara Nagar on Sunday. Cops have registered the offence and arrested culprit, following the complaint of woman.

Man arrested for molesting married woman
25-year-old woman, who parted away from her husband, was abused and molested by a man, in Lakadganj on Thursday. The woman, mother of 5-year-old daughter, had rejected the marriage proposal of the accused identified as Pravin Kawle (28).
Five arrested in theft
Khaperkheda police, on Wednesday, arrested five culprits for stealing material, including Turbine blade and cable wire, worth Rs11.75 lakhs from godown located in MSEB Power Plant by entering through tinted sheet before fortnight. Cops have registered the offence of theft, following the complaint of Executive engineer Ashok Gedam (46). The culprits were identified as Shiva Bawne, Deepak Bagde, Raju Suryawanshi, Suraj Ravidas and lakshminarayan Suryawanshi.
