Police and PAC personnel rushed to a village in Jankipuram area where a clash between two groups assumed a communal tone on Wednesday.

LUCKNOW: A case of rioting and damaging jeep of SHO Gudamaba was registered against 30 unidentified and eight named accused-Ibrahim, Rizwan, Shabbu, Mannu, Deepu, Ashish Rawat, Ram Sumer and Avinash Yadav, all residents of Jankipuram and police are on the lookout for them.
Mannu and Monu were fighting over a financial matter when their respective groups started pelting stones at each other and a stone landed on premises of a religious place.
Curfew like situation prevailed all but on Thursday morning it was back to routine. Jankipuram police station officer Gopal Yadav registered the case when no one lodged complaint.
