Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Oct 6 2016 5:40PM Charas worth Rs 30 lakhs seized from trainSamastipur, Oct 6 (UNI) Sleuths of custom department seizedcontraband charas worth Rs 30 lakhs from a bogie of passenger train at Sugauli station under Samastipur division of East Central Railway (ECR).Police said that acting on a tip-off, sleuths of custome department conducted a raid in a bogie of Raxaul- Samastipur passenger train, leading to seizure 3 Kg of contraband Nepalese charas late last night.It was concealed in a bag kept below the seat. "Price of seized charas is estimated to be Rs 30 lakhs in international market", police said , adding that the smuggler managed to escape from the train during the raid.
