Kolkata, Oct 6 (IBNS): To savour crispy 'Topse Bhaja' (Topse fish fry) and 'Kochi Pathar Jhol' and 'Pui Shak Charchori' the puja shopper-pandal hopper-foodie may visit the five star dining restaurant at Swissotel during the six-day festivity.

"From Crispy and munchy Posto Bhaja to Kochi Pathar Jhol and Bhetkir Dum Jhal we have rolled out an elaborate spread from October 6 to 11," a senior chef of Durbari, the Indian specialty restaurant, tells IBNS.

"This will be polished off by Aam Doi and Gandhoraj Rosogollah as we intend to present our city clientele as well as one-time middle/upper middle class visitor a perfect dining experience on Bengal's biggest festival and we won't be tinkering with the recipes and taste much to be unduly experimental with exotic fusions," he said.

The price tag will be Rs 1500-plus for vegetarians and Rs 1800-plus for non-vegetarians (sans beverage).

In Cafe Swiss there will be tinkering with the lounge and coffee shop ambience to infuse bits of Bengaliness as there will be regular main course menu on all six days.

"From irresistible Ghee Bhaat to Kaju Kishmish Pulao aand Pui Saag Charchori to the new fusion Doi Ilish, the regular visitors, hotel guests as well as those eating out and partying for Puja will have their mouthful and if they ask for more we are there from 12:30 pm till 7 pm," the chef said.

"Since people eye for budget downsizing durng Durga Puja without compromising on quality, we have pegged the buffet lunch for Rs 1200 plus (without beverage) and Rs 2000-plus (with unlimited beverage) per head. The buffet dinner will be Rs 1900-plus without beverage.

At Maaya, there will be complimentary shots for ladies on all days while live music by popular DJs will lift up the mood of those preferring a life away from the din and bustle of Pujas.
