First Ever Mahindra Mojo Coastal Trail Draws To Close
Mahindra two-wheelers first Mojo Coastal Trail has drawn to a close with the successful completion of 1,350kms. The trail was simultaneously flagged off from Mumbai and Bengaluru on September 29, 2016, and it ended at Dandeli in Karnataka on October 3, 2016.
Riders from Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Goa were part of the coastal trail who accounted for the total distance of 1,350kms. The group traveled through animpressive western coast of the country before reaching their destination at Dandeli.
The trail included thecoastal ride through the beaches of Karnataka and Maharashtra along the NH99 highway.
Two batches were flagged simultaneously from Mumbai and Bengaluru and then headed to Goa and spent a night there.
At Goa, the pack of Mojo riders enjoyed their day off in Goa with adventure activities including parasailing, banana boat rides before they hit the road to Dandeli.
From Goa, the entire group of riders rode together to the destination of Dandeli in Karnataka known for its wildlife sanctuary and western ghats. The Bengaluru leg included thefirst destination to Malpe which is about 406kms from the IT city.
Then they travelled to Goa about 320kms on the second day. The third day was a day off at Goa including adventure activities.
The Mumbai riders first rode to Ganpatipule that's about 320kms on the first day and then traveled 276kms to Goa meeting their Mojo tribesmen from Bengaluru.
Both the groups then travelled to Dandeli in Karnataka as an entire Mahindra Mojo tribesmen. Post which each group left to Bengaluru and Mumbai respectively.
The Mahindra Mojo is a single cylinder four stroke DOHC 295cc petrol engine which produces 27bhp and 30Nm of torque. Its 21-litre petrol tank is one of the features for longer rides.
Recently, Mahindra launched the tourer edition of the Mojo which features magnetic tank bag, mobile holder, pannier mount, saddle bags, saddle carrier, front guard, and fog lamp mount.
