Speeding car hits family of three

City police commissioner E Radhakrishana helped a couple and their one-year-old son get treatment after they were hit by a speeding car on the Akota-Dandia Bazaar Bridge on Tuesday night.

VADODARA: City police commissioner E Radhakrishana helped a couple and their one-year-old son get treatment after they were hit by a speeding car on the Akota-Dandia Bazaar Bridge on Tuesday night.
Bahadur Bariya, a resident of Banswada in Rajasthan, was going with his wife and son from Dandia Bazaar to Akota on his when his cycle cart was hit by the car driven by Mukesh Panchal. Bariya's wife suffered serious head injuries after falling off the cycle while his son also got badly bruised in the face.
Radhakrishana, who passing from the bridge, immediately stopped seeing the accident and called the ambulance, said Pradeepsinh Jadeja, assistant commissioner of police, control room.

The police have arrested the car driver Mukesh Panchal and seized his vehicle. The car was also badly damaged in the accident.
