Hyderabad: Telangana government has sanctioned Rs. 8129550 as grant in aid for 22 Waqf institutions of Hyderabad and Rangareddy. The amount will be spent on construction, repair and renovation of those Waqf institutions.
Chief Executive Officer Telangana Waqf Board had sent proposal to the government in this connection. The institutions for which the grant in aid has been sanctioned include, Koh-e-Qayam, Rajendra Nagar, Ashurkhana Masjid Ahl-e-Bait, Asif Nagar, Ashurkhana Bargah-e-Ali, Purani Haveli, Ashurkhana Imam Qasim, Husaini Alam, Ashurkhana Qila Daulatabad, Doodh Bowli, Ashurkhana Hazrat Sakina, Tadbun, Ashurkhana Panch Bhai Alawa, Ziaguda, Ashurkhana Hazrat Abbas, Golconda and Ashurkhana Alawa Bibi Dabeerpura.
