KANPUR: In a unique protest against Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Jamat-ud-Dawah (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed for the terrorist activities against India, a social organisation, along with locals, staged a play at Bada Chauraha here on Wednesday.
In the play, a school girl, dressed as Durga Maheld a noose around the necks of 'Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif' and 'JuD chief Hafiz Saeed' to depict the strength of goddess Durga and women.

The other girls standing next to 'Durga Ma', raised slogans like, 'Ma Durga ki yahi pukar, Dushman par karo prahar' (Goddess Durga wants action against enemies).
The locals, including mayor Jagatveer Singh Drona, also condemned the politicians and the artistes who are questioning veracity of the recent surgical strikes.
The organiser of the programme Manoj Sengar while talking to TOI said that the main purpose of organising such an event was to warn Pakistan to desist from challenging the sovereignty and integrity of India else they would have to face the dire consequences. "Through this event, we also want to warn the politicians and artistes, who directly or indirectly support Pakistan by raising questions against the Indian Army", he added.
Sengar has also made an appeal to the people of the city to completely ban use of Chinese goods, as China is supporting Pakistan.
Mayor Jagatveer Singh Drona, who was also present in the programme, said, "I is very shameful that some politicians of our country are raising questions over surgical strike carried out by our brave soldiers. We should not trust such politicians who do not even have faith in the Army of the country". Such people should be sent to jail, he added.
