GCA Financial adviser wins rising star award
GCA Financial adviser, Erin Truscott, has won the Australian Financial Advisers' (AFA) Rising Star of the Year award, after she demonstrated a strong commitment to education, was a valuable contribution to community, and provided quality advice.
In an announcement at the AFA 2016 National Adviser Conference in Canberra, AFA chief executive, Brad Fox, said that Truscott was a worthy recipient.
"Through the commitment she has made to her education and the contributions she has made to both her profession and her community, Erin has proven herself to be an outstanding AFA Rising Star," he said.
"[She] aims to not only deliver service to her clients that helps improve their financial situation but that also helps improve their peace of mind and hence their lifestyle and well-being."
Truscott hedged out AMP financial planner, Brent Story, ANZ financial planner, Peter Hodgson, MK Wealth Solutions director, Maritza Kriel, Twelve Wealth founder and principal, Cathryn Gross, and Yellow Brick Road financial planner, Gregory Bloom, to win the award.
Truscott has been with GCM Financial since 2014 and previously worked at Financial Wisdom and Professional Investment Services.
