Woman In Court For Allegedly Aiding Rape
A 60-year-old woman appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court yesterday charged with aiding the offence of rape. Magistrate Charles Ratakele has remanded the woman and will give his bail ruling later

A 60-year-old woman appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court yesterday charged with aiding the offence of rape.
Magistrate Charles Ratakele has remanded the woman and will give his bail ruling later today.
It is alleged that sometime in August the accused aided an accused to commit a rape.
Legal Aid lawyer Ravinesh Gounder made a verbal application for bail to which Police Prosecutor, Corporal Pauliasi Lutunauga, objected to.
The grounds of objection were that the principal offender was remanded and that the matter should be transferred to High Court.
The case will be called today for bail ruling.
