Coursera and Indian School of Business  announce the launch of two new specialisations called ‘Business Technology Management’ for professionals in the IT industry and ‘Trading Strategies in Emerging Markets’ for beginners in financial markets sector. Doodle 4 Google
Doodle 4 Google is an annual competition held by Google to have children create a logo that will be featured on the Google homepage. It is open to all students from Class 1 to Class 10 in India. Entrants can create their own Google doodle based on the theme “If I could teach anyone anything, it would be...”
Application for the competition can be submitted either by posting it or online. All applications must be accompanied by a completed official entry form signed by the student’s parent or guardian. For details, visit https://doodles.google.co.in/d4g.

Prabha Dutt Fellowship
The Prabha Dutt Fellowship in Journalism encourages women who wish to investigate and research on any topic of contemporary relevance. The 10-month fellowship is open to women who are Indian nationals and are in the age group of 25 to 40.

The International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi has begun admissions for its various postgraduate programmes in Management including two-year programmes in Human Resource Management and Banking and Financial Services, a 15-month Executive Education in Management and a Fellowship Programme in Management. Essay competition
The Royal Commonwealth Society has launched The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2017, focusing on the theme of A Commonwealth for Peace. Basics of Astronomy

Aerospace engineering
University of Sheffield, UK is inviting applications for BEng in Aerospace engineering starting in September 2017. This course gives students a solid grounding in Aerospace Engineering. After a year of core study, students will choose either the avionic systems or aeromechanics stream. In the final year, students will work on a research project led by one of its world leading academics.
The modules cover aeropropulsion, aerodynamic design, aircraft dynamics and control, computational aerodynamics and project management. The last date to apply is June 30, 2017.

Fundamentals of Business Management
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) partners with CMR Institute of Management Studies (CMRIMS) to offer their IIMBx Certificate Programme on Fundamentals of Business Management, a new online certificate programme. Students will be studying six subjects in the programme: Accounting, Operations, Corporate Finance, Strategy Management, Marketing and Organisation Design.
