Benny Dayal steals hearts as Lady Hardinge completes a century

It was an evening of 'Locha-E-Ulfat' for all Badtameez Dil(s) at Lady Hardinge Medical College, when singer Benny Dayal performed at the college’s annual fest, Splash. Even though the event started late, not many from the crowd complained – they were thrilled just to have Benny in their college.

The singer began his performance with one of his famous songs, 'Locha-E-Ulfat' from '2 States', and dedicated the song to "all the beautiful ladies." He said, "This song is dedicated to all the beautiful ladies.You guys have completed 100 years, that is a big thing, thank you for having me here," and continued his performance. The girls sang and danced along, and Simran Lohia, one of the students, told us, "My dil is actually going Badtameez after seeing him. I love all his songs, he is an amazing singer."
Benny’s got the moves
The crowd had a gala time listening and dancing to numbers like 'Bang Bang', 'Daaru Desi' and 'Badtameez Dil', along with Psy’s 'Gangnam Style', which the singer included in his performance. Benny also danced throughout the performance. Whether it was popping and locking or just showing off his moves during the performance, the singer stole the show with his enthusiasm and energy.
"We are just happy that he is in our college today, it’s a very big thing for us," said Ritu Yadav, a member of the college’s students union. Another student, Vamika Singh, added, "The crowd is going crazy and it’s great to have him here."
